EmpowHER Inaugural Sunday Brunch, March 20, 2016
The Inaugural Sunday Brunch was held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Colony Hotel, Palm Beach. Guest Speaker was Senator Geraldine Thompson, who shared an electrifying message titled “10 Things To Get You To Your Destiny”….. (1) Have Dreams and Imagination, (2) Determination, (3) Establish purpose (What’s your something), (4) Support, (5) Surround yourself with like-minded associates (Recognize Dream Killers), (6) Have a Level of Independency, (7) Believe in something larger than self, (8) Contents (see the bigger picture), (9) Have a servant heart, (10) What’s your stepping stone (Leave a legacy). Celebrating Women History, EmpowHER shared a video presentation on empowered women throughout Palm Beach County and is featured on Home Page. Our guests shared their selfies on Twitter and Facebook using the #EmpowHERbrunch.

I thought the EmpowHER Brunch was awesome. The venue was great, the room and tables with the flowers and take away gifts were fabulous. Very, very creative. The colors were tastefully vibrant. Just a note to let you know how much I enjoyed the EmpowHER brunch. The venue location was an excellent choice. Parking (valet) was very good. Quality of Food and Beverages were good. The atmosphere was lively and warm and everyone I spoke to about the brunch made very positive comments. And, the program and choice of speaker was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
