EmpowHER of the Palm Beaches is appealing to the spirit of charity in each of us by asking for your help in the support of our neighbors who are less fortunate and in desperate need because of homelessness. As you shop during the holidays, would you be so kind as to pick up a few toiletry and grooming items suitable for women, men, and children in the small travel sizes. Please gift as much as is placed in your heart to give. We are also asking you to donate unused or new journals for cathartic purposes as these families and individuals wrestle to come to terms with the magnitude of these challenging situations during this special time of year when everyone else is celebrating. The holidays can be a source of great joy or grief and depression if you are not in a favorable situation and destitute. Participating in this charity will reward all givers as solace emanates and lifts the spirits and feeds the soul of those to whom you are gifting. The weak are strengthened when they know there is hope, that others care, and they are not alone in their struggles. Please help us to warm the hearts and cleanse the bodies of these families today. To contribute to the welfare of the suffering during the holiday season could not be more felicitous as the needs are great and the donations are few.
