EDUCATION
Detective Claudia Palenzuela started her law enforcement career with the University of Miami Police Department as a dispatcher in 1989. She attended the Miami-Dade Police Academy in 1993 and was subsequently hired as a police officer with the City of Hallandale Beach. In May of 1997 she joined the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Since becoming a member of PBSO she has worked in the following capacities: Road Patrol Deputy, Narcotics Agent, Financial Crimes Detective, Court Security, and is now a Civil/Warrants Detective and in Honor Guard. She has attended hundreds of hours of advanced and specialized career courses in various aspects of law enforcement.
