EDUCATION
Shelley Vana has spent significant time in education and politics. She served as President and CEO of the Palm Beach County Classroom Teachers Association for six years. In 2002 she was elected to the Florida House of Representatives serving the citizens of House District 85, and in 2008 she was elected to the Palm Beach County Commission representing District 3. She has served on the Water Resource Advisory Council for the South Florida Water Management District, the Children’s Services Council, Palm Beach County Audit Committee, Early Learning Coalition and The Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council. She also has been active in public television and radio.
