Rochelle Ritchie is the Director of External Affairs for Democracy Prep Public Schools, where she is responsible for internal and external messaging for 22 schools. Prior to joining Democracy Prep, she served as the Press Secretary for the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee with the U.S. House of Representatives. Before joining Congress, she served as the Director of Communications for the Baltimore City State Attorney’s Office, where she served as the spokesperson and media liaison during the Freddie Gray trials. In addition, she has more than a decade of experience as a television reporter, including at WJZ-TV in Baltimore and WPTV News Channel 5 in West Palm Beach.
