Alexcia Cox is an attorney with diversified experience in both civil and criminal practice areas. Since 2012, she has served as Chief of the Domestic Violence Unit at the Office of the State Attorney in Palm Beach County, Florida. As chief of the Unit, she is responsible for all aspects of case management related to the prosecution of misdemeanor and felony domestic violence cases as well as the supervision of attorneys and support personnel. She strongly believes in serving both her local and legal communities. In 2017, she was appointed as chair of the Florida Bar Professional Ethics Committee and was recently appointed to serve on the Florida Bar’s newest standing committee, The Committee on Mental Health and Wellness of Florida Lawyers.
